First Box of the Season

The first box of the season arrived today. As I mentioned in an earlier post, the contents included:

• Celery
• Spring Garlic
• Green Cabbage
  
• Butternut Squash
• Parsnips
• Carrots
  
• Escarole
• Purple Radishes

The produce looks fantastic -- far from the small, withered organic food available at the large chain grocery stores. While not obvious in the picture, there is a lot of food. My plan remains the same, though not looking forward to two bunches of escarole...
