Box Contents May 14, 2008

This week's box includes:

• Strawberries
• Collard Greens
• Romaine Lettuce
• Rapini
• Baby Carrots
• Shitake Mushrooms
• Red Leaf Lettuce
• Broccoli

We now have two bags of mixed salad greens, one head of romaine, and one head of red leaf lettuce. This picture of a sculpture across the street from San Francisco's Ferry Building sums up how I feel about the salad situation.

I was on the road Monday through today and leave for Beijing on Saturday morning, so the compost issue is again a top concern. I'm confident we'll get through the leeks left from last week and everything but the plethora of lettuce...
