• Desiree Potatoes

Really easy week of food to consume, minus the salad mix. I've got a bunch of golden beets from the farmer's market and some goat cheese on hand, so will make a salad with some crusty bread for lunch tomorrow. For breakfast, we're going to have a tortilla, Spanish style, much like the Spanish Potato Tortilla from Vegetarian Times. Along with eggs and potatoes, we'll add some of the gorgeous onions and Erbette chard from this week's box to add to the mix.

The strawberries and cherry tomatoes are gone, thanks to our 2 year old beagle Sam, pictured above. He's larger than the average beagle and was apparently tempted by the veggies on the counter. Both the strawberries and the tomatoes were gone, but their boxes were intact. Happy to have him get some good nutrition, but sorry we missed them ourselves!
